The 2021 Kia Sorento interior is updated and even bolder than before. You can expect to be amazed and impressed not only by the inside but available hybrid powertrain, sharp new exterior look, and enhanced entertainment technology. Let’s take a look:
With the new Sorento, the passenger capacity has changed from the old 8-passenger to a standard 7 passenger seating: driver, front passenger, 3 in second row, and 2 in third row. The 3rd row still comes with a nice 50/50 folding split for maximum storage and dynamic space (see photos below). The second row also has the option of captains chairs! “Reclining second-row captain’s chairs slide forward at your touch for easy third-row access. They can also fold over for even more cargo space.”
Next we have upgrade safety features including:
“Smart Airbags: Passengers are protected by an arc of airbags that are deployed and inflated intelligently based on the severity of certain impacts.
Keep Kids Safe: The Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system in the 2nd and 3rd-row seating areas is an industry standard for securing child seats.
